Quebec dominates in Nova Scotia

Quebec clubs once again performed well on the East Coast.  Wrestlers from the Montreal YMHA, les Patriotes de St-Cesaire and Vanier College competed in the Nova Scotia Open as well as a Dual meet with the provincial team.  The tournament served as another tune-up for the upcoming Canada Games.  The results were as follows.

From the Montreal YMHA there was a clean sweep of Gold Medals as Jason Luneau (50 kgs Cadet), Nicolae Grandrabura (54 kgs Cadet), Natael Lebrun-Cantin (63 kgs Juvenile), Cristina Corecencova (60 kgs Junior Girls) and Alexia Sherland (70 kgs Junior Girls)  all put up impressive performances in their divisions.

From les Patriotes de St-Cesaire, Mathis Rainville won Gold at 73 kgs Bantam Boys while Samuel Rainville (69 kgs Juvenile Boys) and Erin Rainville (56 kgs Juvenile Girls) won Silver in their respective divisions.

Rounding out the results from Vanier College, Jaskaran Singh (69 kgs Juvenile Boys), Julien Choquette (85 kgs Juvenile Boys), Jonathan Campagnolo (100 kgs Juvenile Boys) and Kaya Dube-Snow (56 kgs Juvenile Girls) all won Gold medals.  

In addition to the tournament, all three clubs competed as a province against Nova Scotia and other clubs in a Dual-Meet.  The results were as follows:
