With the Summer Wrestling in full swing right now, our athletes from Quebec are competing in many International Events in the Senior and Junior Age Divisions.  With that being said, it is important to recognize some of the achievements of our high school athletes as well.  Last month, the GMAA (Greater Montreal's Athletic Association) recognized athletes from their member schools in a multitude of sports. Wrestling was represented this year by the following three schools: The Kanawhake Survival School, Selwyn House and Vincent Massey Collegiate.

The Most Valuable Player reward is not just given for the MVP of that year, but for years of contribution to the sport at the high school level.  The MVP's for KSS were Kawennanoron Montour for the girls and Kahrharnoron Nush for the boys.  Selwyn House's MVP was represented by Sam Barmish while VMC's MVP was Amanda Savard.  A good time and a good meal was had by all.  Congratulations to our GMAA MVPs!
