Several clubs also competed in the Bishop Ryan Early Bird Classic held in Hannan Ontario.  John Yeats, wrestling from Lakeside Academy took a Bronze Medal at the 72 kg Boys category.  From the Montreal YMHA, the following athletes each won gold in their respective category.  Dylan Maclean at 54 kg and Guseyn Ruslanzada at 64 kg. Aaron Orszack at 72 kg and Jimmy Fatorous at 83kg took Silver medals.

From the Club de Luttes Les Patriotes, Frederique Choquette won a Gold Medal at the 95 kg category while Julien Choquette placed 4th at 72 kg.  Nick Wilson of Westwood took a Silver Medal at 67.5 kg.  Rounding out the results, the following athletes each won Gold at their respective categories: Alex Moore at 67.5, Francis Carter at 72 kg and Sam Barmish at 77 kg, all representing Vanier College.

There was also a successful showing for the Girls at the Bishop Ryan Early Bird Invitational.  Gold Medals were won by Kaya Dubé-Snow of Montreal YMHA at 58 kg and Amanda Savard of Vanier College at 62 kg.  Laurence Beauregard of also of Vanier College won a Silver Medal at 54 kg

On November 29th 2014, the annual Quebec Open was held in Pierrefonds, QC. It featured five mats with over 200 wrestlers competing in male and female peewee, benjamin, bantam, novice, cadet, juvenile, and junior divisions. 14 pairing masters and officials participated in this even with an on-mat clinic for beginner referees. A successful day for Quebec wrestling!
