Quebec takes Kingston

Wrestlers from Quebec competed at the Bill McLeod Memorial Tournament held in Kingston Ontario.  Members from  KSS, Montreal YMHA, Les Patriotes de St-Cesaire and Vanier College competed with good results coming from all clubs.

 

From KSS, Kanerathens Bush wrestling at 55 kgs and Nick Styres wrestling at 76 kgs won Gold Medals while Angel Robertson (62 kgs), Wenhniseriiostha Goodleaf (70 kgs) and Kennikahontesha Montour (89 kgs) won Silver Medals.  Rounding out the results for KSS: Brandon Brascoup wrestling at (69 kgs) and Karontatsi Rice (99 kgs) won Bronze Medals

 

Competing for the Montreal YMHA Jaskaran Singh took home a Gold Medal in the 72 kgs Senior Boys Division while Jonathan Campagnolo (89 kgs) and Natael Lebrun-Cantin (61 kgs) won Silver medals in their respective divisions.

Representing the Patriotes de St-Cesaire, Samuel Rainville competing at 67.5 kgs and Nicolae Grandrabura competing at 46 kgs both won Gold while Julien Choquette was 2nd at 77 kgs.  Erin Rainville wrestling at 54 kgs Girls rounds out the results for the Patriotes, winning a Bronze Medal.

From Vanier College, Aly Barghout wrestling at HWT, Dylan Maclean at 61 kgs, Kaya Dube-Snow (57.5 kgs) and Laurence Beauregard (61 kgs Girls) all won Gold Medals in their respective divisions.  In addition to this, Laurence Beauregard won the Outstanding Wrestler in the Girls Division.
