Wrestlers from Concordia Univeristy, Montreal YMHA and the Patriotes de St-Cesaire competed this weekend in the University of New Brunswick Invitational.  The tournament is hosted by the University of New Brunswick and the Black Bears wrestling club and features wrestlers from Quebec and Atlantic Canada.  The results for Quebec were the following:

From Concordia University, Trevor Banks and Vince De Marinis placed 1st at 54 kgs and 65 kgs while Karanvir Singh
wrestling at 61 kgs and Dajinder Singh (68 kgs) from the Montreal YMHA also took home Gold.  Rounding out the results, Vincent Frechette of the Montreal YMHA took the Silver medal at 200 kgs.

In the Youth Division, Tommy Caron wrestling from the Montreal YMHA took home a Gold Medal while Megan Caron also from the Montreal YMHA took home a Silver.

From the Patriotes de St-Cesaire wrestling in the Novice-Kids Division, Nathan Rainville (26 kgs) and Isaac Lacasse (39.5 kgs) took home Gold Medals while at the Bantam-Cadet Division, Olivier Paré (40 kgs), Nicolae Gandrabura (48 kgs), Mathis Rainville (66 kgs) and ErinRainville (56 kgs Girls) all took home Gold.  Rounding out the results, Samuel Rainville placed second at 74 kgs Jose DeLaCortina (55 kgs) won a Bronze Medal.  Finally, in the Juvenile-Junior Divison, Julien Choquette won Gold at 76 kgs.
