The Norm Bujold Rumble

Wrestlers from CLIC, the Montreal YMHA, the National Capital Wrestling Club, the Patriotes de St-Cesaire, and the Westwood Crazy Dogs competed in the first annual Norm Bujold Rumble held in Renfrew Ontario.  The tournament fielded competitors in the Bantam, Cadet, Juvenile and Junior Divisons and clubs from all over Ontario.  Quebec wrestlers performed quite well as numorous medals were won by the competing clubs.

 

From CLIC, Ayoub and Thomas Ibrahim both won Gold in their respective divisions while Cesar and Joseph Aziz won Silver medals.

From Montreal YMHA, Dylan Maclean took home a Gold while Nateal Cantin-Lebrun won Silver, both wrestling at 61 kgs Open.  Wrestling at 72 kgs, Aron Orzack, won Gold while Jaskaran Singh won the Silver Medal at the same weight.  In the 95 kgs division, Jonathan Campagnolo won Gold while Aly Barghout, wrestling at 120 kgs also won Gold.  Finally, in the Girls Divison, Kaya Dube-Snow (56 kgs), Laurence Beauregard (61 kgs) and Alexandria Campbell (72 kgs) all took home Gold medals in their respective divisions.

From National Capital, Virginie Clement a resident of Gatineau took home two medals in her respective divisions, winning a Silver medal in the 65 kgs Bantam Girls division and a Silver medal in the 64 kgs Open Girls division.

From the Patriotes de St-Cesaire,  Nicolae Grandanbura took home a Gold Medal in the 50 kgs Cadet division.

And finally from the Westwood Crazy Dogs, Mackenzie Wilson won a Silver Medal in the Girls 61 kgs division.
