Three tournaments occured on the last weekend of February, each with major importance to our Quebec wrestlers.  These tournaments were the Quebec Provincial Championships, the C.I.S National Wrestling Championships and the Pan American Championships.  Quebec wrestlers acquitted themselves well at all three competitons.

At the Provincial Championships held at the Centre Claude Robillard, many clubs from across the province competed with a good level of participation from a "work to rule" year.

At the C.I.S. National Wrestling Championships held at Brock University in St-Catherines Ontario, the Womens team took home a Gold medal with Linda Morais winning at the 63 kgs weight division.
