The Concordia Invitational took place on Sunday October 24th at the Loyola Gymnasium. The tournament kick-started the CIS University season and featured teams from all across Quebec and Ontario as well as Eastern Canada. The tournament was also the site of National Referees certification clinic, allowing referees from around Canada to upgrade their certification to participate in higher level tournaments both at the national and international level. Wrestlers from the Riverdale Wrestling Club, Montreal YMHA, Vanier College, CLIC and Tritton Performance all competed for the province of Quebec with some strong results. York University claimed the top team results in the women while Montreal YMHA finished on top for the men. Congratulations to all our Quebec wrestlers for their participation this past weekend.
