The RSEQ Sport Gala

The RSEQ held their annual gala on Wednesday November 30th. The event was hosted by David Arsenault of RDS, one of the main sponsors for the Fondation des Athletes d’Excellence de Quebec. The gala is held to honour student-athletes competing in the RSEQ at the university level. Bursaries are given to student-athletes from across the province to award academic and athletic accomplishment in a variety of sports at the CIS level. Linda Morais and Vincent De Marinnis of Concordia University received bursaries from the Fondation des Athletes d’Excellence de Quebec and were present at the gala. In addition to this, Linda Morais was one of the three finalists nominated for Top female athlete in the RSEQ for province of Quebec in the category of Athletic achievement for the 2015-2016 season. Linda would then win this very prestigious award for Top Female athlete in the RSEQ. Congratulations Linda for this fine achievement and best of luck for the upcoming season.
