Aly Barghout of Vanier College was this year's recipient for the Fondation de l'athlète d'excellence du Québec (FAEQ) bursary. The FAEQ along with its 11 other sponsors and Défi 808 Bonneville gave out $138 000 in bursaries to 39 student-athletes across the province of Québec. Aly's dominant performance at the Junior Nationals this year helped him to receive a $4000 bursary from the Fondation Gilles Chatel.
