The Jeux de la Francophonie will take place on July 22-24 in Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire. The Jeux de la Francophonie is similar to the Commonwealth Games in that brings French speaking countries around the world to compete in multiple sporting events once every four years. The Jeux de la Francophonie will field teams from Quebec, Canada and New Brunswick. Athletes from the Montreal YMHA will represent Quebec and Canada at the Jeux de la Francophonie this summer.
