Alex Moore was this year's recipient of the Fondation Hydro-Quebec's bursary for Academic and Athletic Excellence. The bursary is awarded to athletes who are attending academic institutions and have obtained a certain athletic and academic standard or both. Alex received the $5000 bursary for a student-athlete entering university thanks to his outstanding results at the 2017 Junior Pan-American Games (Gold) and the 2017 Junior World Championships (7th place). Congratulations Alex on your outstanding achievements!
