Saturday April 14th, the girls in the U-17 and U-19 age divisions took to the mat. The tournament is the largest in the country for girls when it comes to numbers and Quebec clubs sent some of their best as KSS, the Montreal YMHA, les Patriotes de St-Cesaire and Vincent Massey Collegiate all competed. Also on this day, CLIC and the Montreal YMHA registered athletes to compete at the UWW Cadet trials for a chance to secure a place on the UWW Canadian Cadet National Team.

For the Montreal YMHA, Jayden Sparks would wrestle a closely contested match before losing via Fall to Hannah Tuplin of the Cowichan Valley WC at 53 kgs while at 57 kgs, Erin Rainville would find herself in tough against Makayla Levy of the Metro Amateur WC, eventually sucumbing to Technical Fall to take home the Silver Medal. Finally, for les Patriotes de St-Cesaire, Camille Dubuc would wrestle a strong tournament, eventually securing 5th place at 61 kgs with a win via Technical Fall versus Miaya Brownbridge from Cowichan Valley WC.

At the UWW Cadet Trials, Christopher Merlo (CLIC) would win all his matches before losing to Gregor McNeil of Team Impact via Techical Fall (10-0). At 60 kgs, Nicolae Grandrabura (Montreal YMHA) would win all his matches in the Round Robin to secure his spot on the UWW Cadet National Team.
