Quebec sends eight athletes to the 2018 Pan-Am Championships

The 2018 Pan-American Championships will take place in Lima, Peru from May 3rd to the 6th. Out of the twenty four athletes amongst the three styles of wrestling, Quebec will field eight athletes in all three styles. The Montreal YMHA will be represented in Women's Freestyle by Jade Dufour (50 kgs), Laurence Beauregard (59 kgs), Linda Morais (62 kgs) and Veronica Keefe (72 kgs). For the men, Jordan Steen (Montreal YMHA) will represent Canada at 97 kgs. Rounding out the roster from Quebec in Greco-Roman will be the Tristar Wrestling Academy's John Yeats (77 kgs), Philip Barreiro (87 kgs) and Thomas Barreiro (97 kgs).
