The Blessed Trinity High School Tournament and London-Western

The Montreal YMHA, Vanier College and various high school clubs sent athletes to the Blessed Trinity High School Tournament and the London-Western Tournament on Friday November 30th and Saturday December 1st 2018.  This was another strong outing for all clubs involved as all the athletes that went to the tournament came back with medals.

Wrestling for the Montreal YMHA, Junior Iordache (57.5 kg) and Jason Luneau (61 kg) both took home Gold Medals in the High School Open Boys division while Stone Lewis (67.5 kg High School Open Boys) wrestling for Heritage Regional high school and Sarah Black (57.5 kg Girls) wrestling for Beurling Academy, won Bronze Medals in their respective divisions.

For Vanier College, it was a clean sweep as Natael Lebrun-Cantin (67.5 kg), Samuel Rainville (72 kg) and Elijah Davis (89 kg) all won Gold Medals in in the High School Open Boys division while Erin Rainville won Gold in the 57.5 kg Girls division.

At the London-Western tournament, Junior Iordache (57.5 kg High School Open Boys), Jason Luneau (61 kg High School Open Boys) and Nolan O'Rourke, 67.5 kg Cadet, wrestling for the Montreal YMHA, along with Stone Lewis (67.5 kg High School Open Boys) wrestling for Heritage Regional High School all took home Gold medals in a dominating performance to close out the weekend.
