The Bill Mcleod Tournament took place in Kingston, Ontario Saturday December 8th. CLIC, the Montreal YMHA, les Patriotes de St-Cesaire and Vanier College all sent athletes to the tournament with some very impressive results.

From CLIC wrestling in the 51 kg Open Boys division, Christopher Merlo won all his matches to take home a Gold medal while for the Montreal YMHA in the Open Boys division, Junior Iordache (54 kg) and Jason Luneau (64 kg) both won Gold medals in their division. Stone Lewis (67.5 kg Open Boys) won Silver with Nolan O'Rourke (67.5 kg Open Boys) winning a Bronze medal while Sarah Black (Girls 57.5 kg) finished in 5th place.

For the Patriotes de St-Cesaire, it was a clean sweep for Gold medals in the Junior Boys division as Nathan Rainville (44 kg), Olivier Paré (57.5 kg), Isaac Lacasse (64 kg), Yann Heymug (67.5 kg) and Émile Forgues (77 kg) won all their matches to win their divisions.

Finally from Vanier College, Natael Lebrun-Cantin (67.5 kg Open Boys) would win Gold while Erin Rainville (Girls 57.5 kg) would finish off in the Bronze medal position. Congratulations to our Quebec athletes for their strong performance this past weekend.
