Daniel Igali visits the Montreal YMHA

Last week, a surprise visitor came to the Montreal YMHA as former National Team Member, World and Olympic Champion Daniel Igali was in town for an event held at the Canada Olympic House. Daniel gave some inspirational speeches to some current and potential Olympians and posed for some pictures after which he accompanied his former National teammate and former Montreal YMHA wrestler Kaha Verkhviachvili to the Montreal YMHA for a visit. That evening the club would be fortunate to have two other World Champions in the room as Montreal YMHA coach, World Champion and Olympic Silver medalist, Gia Sissaouri and double weight division UFC World champion, George St-Pierre were at practice that night. Many of the athletes took the advantage to take pictures with Igali and it was a real priviledge to have him come and visit.
