Concordia Wrestler Francis Carter is this year's recipient of the Governor General’s Academic All-Canadian Commendation also known as the Top 8 Academic All-Canadians. This prestigious award is given to the top Academic Male and Female athletes in each of the four athletic conferences in U-Sports. Francis is this year's recipient from the RESQ and will be honoured at a ceremony on January 28-29. Francis along with the male recipient from the CWUAA (Canada West University Athletic Association) are the first male athletes to receive the Governor General Award and be nominated for the BLG Award as well. Congratulations Francis on your continuing academic success!
