Day 3 from the 2019 Pan-American Champions

Facebook Twitter

The last day of Freestyle wrestling saw Quebec's Scott Schiller, Alex Moore and Jordie Steen take to the mat.  Alex Moore, wrestling for Concordia University while Scott Schiller and Jordie Steen representing the Montreal YMHA faced some stiff competition as they hoped to add to the medla count and match the Women's team that had taken second place overall behind the American's on the previous days of competition.  Alex would win his Bronze medal final via Technical Superiority (11-0) against Christian Anguiano Flores of Mexico while Scott Schiller would win his final match in the Round-Robin versus Juan Rodriguez Jovel of El Salvador.  Jordie would come up just short in his Bronze medal match but his 5th place finish managed to help the Canadian team finish second behind the United States.  Congratulations to our Quebec athletes on another fine performance at another international tournament!
