Two Quebec athletes qualify for the 2019 World Championships

The Non-Olympic Trials for the upcoming World Championships in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan were held on Saturdya June 29th in Calgary Alberta.  Quebec sent a contingent of athletes to the competition and when it was all over, Quebec had qualified two athletes for the competition.  Scott Schiller qualified his position in the 61 kg division while Linda Morais beat U23 World Champion Alexandria Town to qualify in the 59 kg division.  They will join Alex Moore (86 kg) and Jordan Steen (97 kg) who qualified their weights due to their victory at 2019 Canadian Nationals.  The World Championships will be contested from September 14-22.  Congratulations and best of luck!
