The past weekend finished off with a flurry of results coming from the U23 World Team Trials, the Canada Cup and the UWW Cadet Pan-American Championships. Quebec had athletes competing in all of these events and came back with some fabulous results.
The weekend began with the 2019 Canada Cup, having changed locations from its longtime location at the University of Guelph to the University of Calgary. The tournament was held on Sunday June 30th 2019 at the Jack Simpson Gymnasium. Quebec's competitors wrestling at the event consisted only of carded athletes and as result, Jade Dufour and Aly Bargout were Quebec's sole representatives at the event. The Canada Cup is Canada's only tournament on the international circuit listed on the UWW schedule and usually attracts a good level of competition from various countries. Quebec's two representatives finished off in the Top 5 as Aly Barghout, wrestling at 125 kg placed 2nd while Jade Dufour, wrestling at 53 kg placed 4th.

At the UWW Pan-American Championships, Stone Lewis of Heritage Regional High School was Quebec's only representative at the competition. Held in Morelia Mexico, Stone would wrestle a strong tournament en route to winning a Silver medal at 65 kg. Stone's Silver medal would help Canada to finish as the third best country for the tournament.

Finally, the U23 World Team trials was contested in Calgary and Quebec sent many athletes to qualify for the U23 World Championships being held in Budapest Hungary. When the competition was finished, Sam Barmish, Aly Bargout, Jade Dufour and Amanda Savard would qualify their weights for the competition. They would join their fellow Quebecers Alex Moore and Alexia Sherland who would qualify their weights based on their performances at the 2019 Canadian Nationals.
