Rare action in July

The last weekend featured some rare July action for Quebec wrestlers at two different tournaments, one local and the other international.  The Ontario Cup, held in Guelph Ontario and the Spanish Grand Prix held in Madrid Spain.  The Montreal YMHA and Concordia sent athletes to both competitions with some strong results while The Crazy Dogs, les Patriotes de St-Cesaire and the Riverdale Wrestling Club were also in attendance.

At the Spanish Grand Prix, Guseyn Ruslanzada of the Montreal YMHA was Quebec's sole medal winner as he captured a Bronze Medal at 74 kg.  At the Ontario Cup, Cadets and Juniors were in action and once again, Quebec athletes faired well at the competition.
