The second training and selection camp for the 2020 North American Indigenous Games took place on Satruday July 20th at the Kahnawake Youth Centre.  The training camp was the second in a series of three camps designed for both team building and selection as young athletes from five different high schools and two territories came to solidify their place to represent Eastern Door and the North.

The first part of the training camp was hosted by 2001 World Champion and 1996 Olympic Silver Medalist Gia Sissaouri.  Gia was able to show some basic and advance techniques to wrestlers of various skill levels and every athlete came out with a greater level of techical prowess.

The third and final training and selection camp will take place on Saturday, August 24th and will be the final opportunity for athletes to try out for the team.
