Results from the 2019 Concordia Invitational

The 2019 U-Sport Varstiy season kicked off on Sunday October 27th with the annual Concordia Inviatational. The Concordia Invitational is the beginning of the competitive season for Quebec wrestling and many local and out of town clubs participated in the tournament including teams from Ontario, New Brunswick, New York State, Pennsylvania and even a representative from the Dinos Wrestling Club in Calgary.

The tournament featured some out of town Varsity presence as the East Stroudsburg University, an NCAA Division Two school out of Pennsylvania took part in the competition while also fielding a Women's wrestling team for the first time in their history. Local clubs to compete were Concordia Univeristy, Club de Lutte Élites Soulanges Crazy Dogs, the Montreal Wrestling Club/NTC, Thailong Wrestling Club, Tritton Top Team and Vanier College. In addition to this, volunteers from the Mohawk Wrestling Club and the Patriotes de St-Cesaire helped the tournament to run smoothly.
