The two-day Festival VITA event at the Olympic Stadium provided FLOQ with a great opportunity to showcase and promote Quebec wrestling.
Day 1 – Friday, September 18, 2026 | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Day 1 focused primarily on children and schools, creating an excellent opportunity to introduce youth to wrestling. The wrestling demonstrations and hands-on activities with the youth made the FLOQ booth extremely popular. Many children were eager to try wrestling and showed enthusiasm for learning more about the sport.
The event also highlighted the importance of accessibility. Through the FLOQ website, FLOQ.ca, attendees were able to access information and discover more about the world of Quebec wrestling.
Day 2 – Saturday, September 19, 2026 | 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
Day 2 focused more on families and friends, resulting in greater interaction with adults at the FLOQ booth. These conversations provided an opportunity to promote Quebec wrestling as a whole while also highlighting wrestling clubs and associated schools across Quebec. Engaging with parents and adults also created opportunities to share information about where they could find wrestling programs and become involved in the sport.
Overall
The FLOQ booth provided a valuable setting to connect with youth, families, and the broader community. The youth demonstrations helped generate strong interest on Day 1, while the adult interactions on Day 2 allowed FLOQ to further promote wrestling clubs and schools across Quebec. The event helped increase awareness of wrestling in Quebec and provided opportunities to connect people with clubs, schools, and other ways to become involved in the sport.
