Three tournaments took place in Ontario, the weekend of December 12th to the 14th. The CKSS tournament, the Bishop Ryan Invitational and the Matmen Classic were set to close out the year for 2025. Quebec clubs were in full attendance as Beurling Academy, CLIC, the Club de Lutte Lasalle, Concordia University, The Crazy Dogs, Heritage Regional High School, Lower Canada College, the Kartal Wrestling Club, KSS, the Montreal Wrestling Club NTC, les Patriotes de St-Cesaire, the Riverdale Wrestling Club, Royal West Academy, the Tritton Performance Wrestling Club, Vanier College and the YMHA Wrestling Club , all sent athletes to the events with the the following results:
The CKSS Tournament
The CKSS was held in Milton Ontario at the Craig Kielberger Secondary School on Friday December 12th. This tournament is a good secondary option for athletes who aren’t going to the Bishop Ryan Invitational as it has many athletes and mats, offering a wide variety of skills for high school level athletes. Beurling Academy, The Montreal Wrestling Club NTC, les Patriotes de St-Cesaire, Royal West Academy and the YMHA all sent athletes to the event. The results were the following:

The Bishop Ryan Invitational
The Bishop Ryan Invitational was also held on Friday December 12th at Bishop Ryan High School in Hannon Ontario. This competition has always been a tough one, as many high school level athletes competing in Matmen, would also compete at this tournament as well. Featuring five mats, the tournament’s level of competition is extremely high and Quebec athletes from the Club de Lutte Lasalle, Heritage Regional High School, Lower Canada College, the Montreal Wrestling Club NTC, les Patriotes de St-Cesaire, the Riverdale Wrestling Club, Tritton Performance and the YMHA hoped to be able to medal at the tournament.

The Matmen Classic
The final tournament of the weekend would be the Matmen Classic, held at at the CAA Centre in Brampton Ontario on Saturday and Sunday. Long been considered one of the strongest tournaments for the younger age groups, the Matmen Classic would now feature international age groups as well as Seniors. The tournament attracts teams from all across the country and is an excellent tournament to help our Quebec athletes prepare for the upcoming National Championships. The Quebec clubs in attendance were Beurling Academy, CLIC, Concordia University, the Crazy Dogs Wrestling Club, Heritage Regional High School, the Kartal Wrestling Club, KSS, Lower Canada College, the Montreal Wrestling Club NTC, les Patriotes de St-Cesaire, the Riverdale Wrestling Club, Royal West Academy, the Tritton Performance Wrestling Club, Vanier College, and the YMHA all sent a slew of athletes to compete on both days.
