The Canadian Trials and the National Championships for their respective teams took place on March 9th to the 12th in Waterloo Ontario. Various Cadets, Juniors, Seniors and Greco-Roman wrestlers went to compete and qualify their place for their upcoming continental and World Championships.

The clubs from Quebec that sent athletes to the Cadet Team Trials were Montreal Wrestling Club NTC, the Patriotes de St-Cesaire and the Riverdale Wrestling Club. Though small in numbers, the tournament was pretty competitive.

The Junior National Championships

For the Junior National Championships, Quebec Clubs were once again in full force on the following day. CLIC, Montreal Wrestling Club NTC, the Patriotes de St-Cesaire and Tritton Performance Wrestling Club all had wrestlers compete in the event with some strong results.

The Senior National Championships

The Senior National Championships was the showcase event for our Quebec Wrestlers. CLIC, Montreal Wrestling Club NTC and Tritton Performance Wrestling Club all sent wrestlers to the event with some very good results on both the men and women’s side.
