Quebec’s participation at this year’s Copa Sparta was a small one as three Quebec athletes made their way to the competition being held at the University of San Juan in Puerto Rico. Amanda Savard from Concordia University was joined by Laurence Beauregard and Frederique Choquette of the Montreal Wrestling Club NTC.
Weigh-ins done
All three athletes would perform extremely well as Quebec came back with a clean sweep with Fred winning Gold at 97 kgs while Amanda would win at 68 kgs and Laurence at 59 kgs.
