On Friday May 3rd, the annual Vanier College Athletic Banquet was held at the G1 Athletics Building. The banquet is used to showcase and recognize Vanier Teams in terms of athletic and academic accomplishments. Though not recognized as a college sport by the RSEQ, the team at Vanier is a part of the Alliance Sport-Études which is an endeavour to allow student-athletes at the High Performance level mix in their training with a modified school schedule after they have graduated from high school, in order to help them achieve their athletic dreams.

Many graduates of the Sport-Études program have gone on to represent themselves at the USport Varsity level as well as at National and International events, taking home medals in a variety of competitions. Notable alumni from the Sport-Études program include Dory Yeats (Junior World Champion and 2016 Olympian, David Zilberman (2008 Olympian), Martine Dugrenier (3 Time World Champion and 2 Time Olympian) and Alex Moore who will be headed to Paris this summer to represent Canada at the 2024 Olympic Games.
