Two athletes from the Montreal Wrestling Club/NTC competed at the annual NYAC/Bill Farrell Memorial Tournament held on Friday November 15th. The tournament is a long standing and well recognized wrestling tournament that attracts many international competitors and features Women’s Greco-Roman and Freestyle wrestling. Held at the famous New York Athletic Club in Manhattan New York, Veronica Keefe and Aline Da Silva, who hails from Brazil and trains periodically with the Montreal Wrestling Club/NTC wrestled the tournament this year, accompanied by Coach Martine Dugrenier. Veronica placed second at 68 kg while Aline also won a Silver medal at 76 kg. Congratulations to our two athletes on their performance in New York!
