The 2023 edition of the North American Indigenous Games took place in Halifax Nova Scotia at the famous St-Mary’s University. The wrestling pavilion, located at the Dauphinee Centre, played host to some high calibre matches as Team EDN looked to try and take home the Todd Diabo Trophy, awarded to the top Men’s team in the competition.
Team EDN is ready for action
The tournament was spread out over two days, making it a marathon for some of the wrestlers not accustomed to the length of competition. In the end, the wrestlers gave it their all and though the results may not have been what we wanted, each wrestler achieved a moral victory. The results were as follows:
