This past weekend, Quebec clubs were in action at the Third Annual Gladiator’s Challenge, held in Brampton Ontario (15/02/2020). Although a relatively new tournament, the Gladiator Challenge saw a good variety of wrestlers come to compete and Quebec athletes didn’t dissapoint. The Patriotes de St-Cesaire, Vanier College and YMHA Wrestling Club sent wrestlers to the event with the following results:

For the Patriotes de St-Cesaire in the Bantams Girls division, the results were the following:

Èva Vaillancourt (41-44 kg) Silver Medal

Léanne Tétreault (49-51 kg) Bronze Medal

 

And for the Bantams Boys:

Jérémie Préfontaine (34-36 kg) Bronze Medal

Lestate Germain (47-50 kg) Gold Medal

Justin Leclerc (67-70 kg) 4th

 

In the Cadet Boys division, the results were the following:

Jacob Jutras (54 kg) Gold Medal

 

Finally, in the Open Girls and Boys Division, Camille Dubuc (64-67.5 kg) took home a Silver Medal while Mathis Rainville (89 kg) won a Gold Medal.

For Vanier College, Stone Lewis won Gold in the 72 kg Open Boys division while for the YMHA Wrestling Club, wrestling in the Cadet Boys division, Nazir Ahmadnazir Haidarim (61 kg) won a Bronze Medal while in the Open Boys, Jason Luneau (64 kg) took home a Gold Medal while Junior Iordache (72 kg) finished with a Bronze Medal.
