The U23 World Team Trials as well as the Trials for the Non-Olympic weights were held at the MNP Community and Sport Centre in Calgary Alberta on May 25th and 26th. Quebec would send representatives to the competition as CLIC, Concordia University, Montreal Wrestling Club NTC and Tritton Performance Wrestling Club would all be in attendance.

Despite this being an Olympic year, the competition field was extremely tough. All winners of the competition would qualify their spots to compete for Canada at the Pan Am Championships as well as the World Championships. Here are the athletes that competed at the tournament and their results:
