Quebec athletes made their return to Sassari City in Sardinia Italy to compete at the Sassari Grand Prix. The annual competition was put on hold for a short while and athletes were eager to return to the tournament.
Members of the Montreal Wrestling Club NTC were in attendance and the results were as follows;
Competing in the in the Men’s 97 kg division, Jeremy Poirier won a Gold Medal while in the 55 kg Women’s division, Virginie Gascon also won Gold. Rounding out the results, Laurence Beauregard took home a Silver Medal in the 62 kg division.
