On Sunday February 18th, several wrestlers from various clubs converged on the RBC Camp des Recrues held at UQAM University in Montreal. Established in 2016, the RBC Camp des Recrues is held across Canada and used to identify potential athletes for identification and recruitment to various other Olympic Sports should they wish to either change sports in an effort to realize their Olympic Dream. Concordia, Loyola High School and Vanier College all had athletes at the event.

And they’re off!

Athletes were separated in different waves and participated in a series of controlled tests which measured strength, speed and endurance. Each result was catalogued and will be compared with other athletes from the province. Cameron Dallman of Vanier College impressed as he finished amongst three other athletes in the field with the highest number in the Endurance Test.
